Vintage needlework depicting a mighty Horned Owl sitting on a pine branch.
The artist, “EF” used black for the owl but added brown for the pine tree trunk and branches and a pretty green for the pine needles. 😍 We have seen this before but it’s always been just black thread. Done on an ecru/ivory bisque linen fabric and set in a minimalist black frame.
The frame is showing some age with some dings here and there but no cracks or large issues – it’s very much a vintage find!
