3D Quilted Fabric made into a framed piece of art.
The frame is absolutely PERFECT for this – wider, older, medium color wood that’s got a bit more darkness in the corners like it’s been burnished.
This map fabric has been made into a framed hanging wall picture. It shows the Americas, as it was mapped out in 1631. Reads Noviter Delineata 1631. Shows mountains, wildlife, fish and whales, etc. Part of the fabric is puffy, almost 3-D, stuffed. The wooden frame has age appropriate wear, scratches and scuffs. Wood separating a bit at corner. The paper on the back has been torn away.
Approximate measurements are 20.5” H x 20.5” W in the frame.
Note: This has a glass protective cover but no backing. There is a deep scratch in the glass bottom right corner – difficult to see due to the color and fabric as well as the placement. AS IS, AS FOUND.
