Vintage 1930s Robinson Ransbottom Sun Moon Planter in Turquoise

Description

This is one of the more rare colors to find in pottery from the early 30s, 40s, and 50s. Sun and the Moon large jardinière by Robinson Ransbottom circa 1930s.

Perfect for indoor plants – with plant directly into pot or drop the plant – in its original container!

Note: Crazing present as well as normal manufacturing issues such as glaze inconsistencies, pops, and small divot under the glaze on top side – see photo # 1. Additionally there is some lime scale on inside of pot from watering/plants (this can easily be fixed by soaking in distilled white vinegar and scrubbing with a nylon brush).
