US Glass “Arched Ovals” Vintage Cake Stands or Wedding Cupcake Stands Great Retro Pressed Glass Pedestal Stands

Pretty vintage glass baked goods pedestal was created by the U.S. Glass Company. This is PERFECT for cakes, pies, or any dessert!

Upcycle tip: use to elevate houseplants in a vignette!

Maker history: this wasn’t a single entity but made up of 17 different glass factories from Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and West Virginia) the pattern only was given a number (No. 15091 ) but many people called it “Arched Ovals”.

This cake pedestal was made prior to 1963 when the US Glass Company went bankrupt.

Note: EAPG usually has characteristics like small pieces of sand or ash within the glass- these are called inclusions – bubbles and sometimes the plate is slightly off level. Evidence of utensil marks on the top of the plate is also normal. This has a small spot that isn’t a chip but isn’t part of the pattern either – just noting it for buyers. Please study all photos by zooming in!
