RARE Antique Burmantofts Pottery Vase in Deep Yellow c. 1910 Leeds England

Description

This gorgeous gourd vase with double handles is a rare find (c. 1910) particularly in this deep rich yellow color.

This was made by Burmantofts, a well-known brand from Leeds, England.

The vase has an incredible Art Deco style and was completely handmade.

Their unique production techniques really made it shine and stand out from other pieces made during the same timeframe.

The backstamp of impressed marks on the base – a B and an F – confirms that this is an original piece from Burmantofts. The number 76 is also impressed into base.

This vase would make an excellent addition to any collection and is highly sought after by collectors of vintage pottery.

Note: There has been a repair to one of the handles.
