Necklace Pendant Round Malachite Stone Set in Sterling Silver Pendant Marked 925 Mexico TN-44

Description

This is a Vintage Malachite set in Sterling Silver Pendant. This malachite cabochon has that vibrant green with lighter green veins in the stone and lovely vintage patina on the sterling silver.

Created and made in the Mexico/Native American style of stone set into sterling silver and sterling silver bail.

Stamped on back ” 925 Mexico TN -44″. The marks in Mexico made items like this the “T” stands for the city it was made in – Taxco. The second letter “N” first initial of the last name of the silversmith. The “44” represents that he is the 44th registered silversmith in his city with the last name that starts with “N”. They began this type of marking system after 1979.

Other facts about Malachite:
The Malachite stone is said to be a “Stone of Transformation and can be used anytime you have a new job, new home, new relationship, or anything else “new” in life.
Malachite is also a good luck/abundance stone and a Heart Chakra stone.
