Description

This beautiful antique cake stand makes every day a special occasion! You can bet this is going to be very unique and nobody else will have one!

Love the little bee in the center piece!

This was created by the John B. Higbee Glass Company out of Bridgeville, Pa. This pattern was introduced in 1913, just 5 years before the glass plant would close in 1918. The pattern is GALA but collector’s also call it “Hawaiian Lei”. The pattern’s motif is stars/rosettes, panels, and X in box.

Note: There are no chips or cracks – there are straw mark (where glass was cut as it was poured into the mold) and other bubbles in the glass which is inherent to how they made it back in the early 1900’s.
