Description
Lovely pierced edge (reticulated) porcelain plate trimmed in gold with a vividly colored transferware center of a courting couple with small hand painted flowers decorating the outside edges between the piercings.
Marked on the bottom: “Made in USA Zone” means this porcelain plate was made between 1945 and about 1955 in the American Zone of Germany, likely in Bavaria. The plate is in beautiful condition with no chips or cracks.
