Antique Silver Overlay Floral with Butterfly Italian Demitasse Cup and Saucer/ Possibly Richard Ginori 1930s

Description

This is the daintiest demitasse cup and saucer! At first glance it looks like hand-painted black on white but when you look closely, the edges show that vintage soft silver patina and reveals the true nature of the design. Swirls of leaves, roses, and butterflies are the pattern motif.

Likely by Italian designer Richard Ginori from around 1930’s. There are no chips or cracks in the cup or saucer that we can find. There is a small piece of silver loss shown in Photo #3 but we were unable to find any other issues with this little cup and saucer.

Note: The silver overlay may (or may not!) need to be polished but we choose to let the buyer decide if they want it polished or if they’d like to keep the beautiful patina on the pieces.
