Beautiful large vintage silverplate serving spoon – love the bottom portion that allows the spoon to rest on the spine (this is the rattail!)! The details in vintage serving ware are just pretty amazing.

The name of “rattail” from the tail on the back of the spoon and fork and elevated line or rib running the length of the handle.
