Description
If you’re considering gifting a vintage item, for any reason, this is a STUNNING piece of Carnival Glass, to do so.
Dugan Glass was only manufacturing pieces for a few years which makes their pieces more difficult to find and in perfect condition! This bowl was likely made somewhere between 1908 and 1911.
The bowl has texted crescents joined in the formation of an eight-pointed Star. There is a smaller Star inside the large in the center of the bowl. The footed bottom outside of the bowl has the compass pattern on it. The color is “Peach Opalescent” with the milky white color graduating in density up to the ruffled rim where there is a fairly solid white band on the exterior outer edge.
This ruffled bowl is in the pattern known as “Ski Star” and measures almost 4″ tall and is 10 3/4″ in diameter at widest point.
NOTE: No chips or cracks found. There are bubbles in the glass that are normal from the manufacturing process.
