Italian Pottery Dinner Plates Set of 4 by Deruta, Italy Orvieto Pattern

Gorgeously colorful set of 4 dinner plates, made in Deruta, Italy. These plates are part of the design of Orvieto Galletto pattern – these are the plain white center dinner plates with the colorful yellow, green, and blues that are typical of this pattern.

The Orvieto (or Orvietano) design is a very old and traditional pattern that originated during the Renaissance in the hill-top town of Orvieto Italy.

These plates are lead and cadmium free and dishwasher safe but not recommended for microwave use.

Colors may vary. Colors in photograph are close but may not represent true colors.

These are approximately 10.5″ in diameter.

Note: One small chip on edge of 1 plate – see photo #6. These are handmade and painted and thus will see small flecks and other “imperfections” in the glaze.
